You will hear from developers, fund managers, portfolio managers, asset managers, and other real estate professionals, who are the true investors, not just from the brokers. We will cover public and private debt and equity investments and transactions in real estate, as well as economic factors affecting real estate, while educating Main Street with Wall Street information that is just real estate.
About Joseph W. Foley
Mr. Foley is the Founder and President of JWF Capital, LLC, a boutique real estate advisory and consulting firm. With nearly a decade of experience in investing with public and private market transactions, Mr. Foley worked at Major Management, a multi-strategy investment firm, as a investment and asset manager, at Eagle Bay Capital, a Long Short Hedge Fund, as EVP, and at The Corcoran Group, a leading luxury real estate firm, as a Vice President. At the Corcoran Group, Mr. Foley received a number of nominations, awards, and dedications from the firm, including Top 1% of Brokers Nationwide, Top Sales, and Most Transactions, in addition to nominations for REBNY Deal of the Year and Rookie of the Year, as well as Forbes Magazine’s List 30 under 30 in Real Estate. Mr. Foley left the firm to pursue the buy-side of investing at Eagle Bay Capital's fund Ibis Fund, but later transitioned to a portfolio manager at Major. During this duration, he continued to consult for a number of projects and investors in the real estate sector at JWF Capital, LLC.
Mr. Foley is a graduate of Columbia University with a Master in Real Estate Development and a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Cum Laude. He also studied at Columbia Business School focusing on financial analytics in Debt Markets and Capital Markets Transactions and Investments.
